A question falls from the sky. Type the answer and press enter to zap it before it lands! You have three lives, and each level falls faster: easy tables first, then the tricky ones, then mixed arithmetic. Pick your challenge: on Top Dog, two questions fall at once.
Speed of recall is what separates "knows their tables" from "uses their tables". The gentle time pressure here trains the same instant-answer muscle as the Year 4 multiplication check and, later, the pace of an 11+ maths paper, but with lives, levels and a high score instead of a test grade.
